Round #9 of the GT3 Proxy continued in Edmonton and raced at the Little Madonie track. The Little Madonie is a challenging counter clockwise uphill / downhill road course with many twists and turns featuring many challenging corners. The Kelowna cars fared well despite the challenging road course with Rob finishing 5th, Lez 11th, and Leo 19th. Race #8 of the GT3 Proxy ran May 5, 2020 in Edmonton on the Dominator track. The Dominator is a very long 115 foot track in a beautiful facility that houses several tracks including a new drag strip. GT3 Proxy Race #7 Calgary

The GT3 Proxy continued over the border into Canada and raced at the Mugello Track owned by Tom M. Tom and his son raced the GT3 cars and drove the cars very well plus recorded the race on Facebook. GT3 Proxy Race #6 Massachusetts

On March 22nd the GT3 Proxy continued to Merrimac, Massachusetts to race Round #6 at the River Run track owned by Audi1. This technical track put all the Kelowna cars to a good test with Rob finishing in 1st, Lez 10th, and Leo 23rd. Congratulations to the Kelowna boys for another two cars in the top ten. Race #17 Autodromo Beira Lago

Race #17 ended up a very close finish between Lezlie and Richard for first place with only one point separation, congratulations to Lezlie for his first place. All it took is a different finish or fastest lap to have made a difference between Lezlie and Richard! Looking at the results Lezlie finished second in every class, we have never had a overall winner in a very long time (maybe never) that has not won a class. Henry and Richard each finished on the podium three times (two wins each) but one non podium race each was enough to knock them down and give Lezlie the win. Congratulations to Henry with his third place and a shout out to Rafael for his fourth. The Kelowna boys did very well in Connecticut at the latest GT3 Proxy Race held at the Lee Marquardt Speedway by the Shoreliners Club on Feb 25th, 2020. Race #14 Tronson Model Speedway

Congratulations to Lez for winning the Crystal Bowl at the Tronson Model Speedway. Lezlie and Leo were actually both deadlocked at 56 overall points at the end of the day with an equal two wins / two seconds plus both racers received an equal two fastest lap bonus points. Does not get much closer than that so in the end the tie breaker was total laps……..sorry Leo!
