Round #3 of the TransAm Proxy was held March 26, 2017 in Merrimac, MA at the The Riverside track belonging to Austin. The Riverside track is a plastic slot car track modeled after the famous Riverside Raceway in California. The Kelowna cars finished 12th Rob 70 Camaro, 14th Randy 70 Cuda, and 25th Lezlie 69 Camaro. Race #17 Tronson Model Speedway

Our final race of the season was held at the Tronson Model Speedway where Lezlie prevailed and took home the Golden Cobra…..Congrats Lez! Lez captured all four fastest lap bonus points on route to an amazing 41 point day. Up until now, the Cobra’s home has been at Weixl Photography with Don winning the last three race meetings at Tronson. Race #16 at QRS found Rob finishing first, he is lucky all his cars do not handle like his Cougar! Don breaking his Lexus chassis after posting the second most laps on the yellow lane dropped him down to third overall. Henning with a bit of Nascar nudging on Lezlie’s F1 seemed to rattle Lezlie’s confidence.
