What a great time we all had running this year’s Le Mans! A lot of close racing throughout the day with many battles between racers. Overall combining the two era’s Rob finished first thanks to a really good run in the late era. Dariusz in second overall and Lez third overall battled all day and ended up only a lap and a half apart, it was just too close to call all the way! Team Mateo in fourth overall finished only two and a half laps ahead of fifth overall Henry. Don K in sixth only three laps in front of Ken in seventh. We did have a mechanical problem this year, John who was running very fast sitting in fourth after the early era had a guide wire break. The time to repair really cost him finishing in eight place. I think we had the closest finish on the podium ever this past race at Rogers Raceway. Four cars on the podium and three of the cars were within a point of each other. Congratulations to Henry for the win and followed by Lezlie, Leo and Rob on the podium. Ken finished a solid fifth and Henning in sixth managed to stay ahead of Don by one point. Well it was redemption, repeat, or upset at Predator Speedway Sunday March 8th. With only three members of the KSCC in attendance the gloves were off. At the end of the day Ken came back and rebooked the win. Four first place finishes and four fastest laps got the job done. Total domination. John started strongly with a second place in the Nascar class with Lez a strong third. After that it was a battle though out the day. Lots of laughs very few crashes and fun for all.
