Congratulations to the Kelowna crew for a great job hosting the 2019 Trans-Am Slot Car Proxy. Seven KSCC members raced twenty seven Trans-Am cars on a Friday afternoon to run Round #8. A smooth easy to run car built by #79 Audi1 from Massachusetts took first place followed closely behind by #70 Smokeio and #7 Aloha. Sunday’s racing brought us way up north to Vernon’s Predator Speedway. The question leading up to Sunday was could anyone knock off Ken who has never lost on Predator Speedway and has a fill of Baby Duck after every race meeting! This Summer of 2019 will always be remembered as the year Lez’s Canalami Raceway moved from Glenmore to it’s new home in West Kelowna belonging to Kevin G.
