Nine racers competed at MID-BC for the chance to be MID-BC champion. Once the dust settled Rob came out on top, Leo finished second overall thanks to a solid finish in Group C, Lez finished third. A very close competitive day of Racing!! This is the first time I remember a tie for first place. Congrats to Lez and Henry for your great display of slot car racing! Lez and Henry each had two wins and Lez was the only racer of the day to finish on the podium in all four classes while Henry had fastest laps in all four classes. Rob’s extra points in the last two classes enabled him to pass Leo to finish third. Leo had a very strong start for the day with two second place finishes and in the end finished fourth. Henning, Dariusz and John finished within a point of each other but Henning’s strong performance in Nascar helped him finish fifth while Dariusz and John ended up in a tie for sixth. Congratulations to the Race #8 Podium: 1st Rob, 2nd Leo, and 3rd Dariusz. Rob finished on the podium in all four classes while Dariusz finished on the podium in three classes. A great day of racing at Leadfoot Lanes…..it was fast like a roller derby but without getting hurt! Congratulations to Leo who was the only racer to podium in all four classes which eased him into winning the overall day. Lez finished in second with two podiums beating third place Rob by one point.
