Seven racers made it to the Tronson Model Speedway this past Sunday. Rob won the overall score while Lez was very close behind in second place followed by Leo in third. Henry finished fourth, Dariusz and John tied for fifth and Henning ended up in seventh. MID-BC was the host for this past Sunday’s race. A total of nine racers participated along with two visitors for an afternoon of fun competitive racing. Rob won two classes, Pre 1975 Classic Endurance & Group C. Lez won the Early Wing F1 and Leo won NASCAR. Shout out to Dariusz receiving the Fastest Lap bonus point in Early Wing F1. Two Kelowna cars entered the Sports Car Championship (SCCA) Proxy this year. This is a proxy race series for the cars that ran in SCCA events from 1951-1965. Those include cars that competed in the SCCA National Sports Car Championship (1951-64) and the first 3 years of the SCCA United States Road Racing Championship, which ran 1963-68.
