2024 – 25 Season Opener – Kelowna Slot Car Club KSCC

So we decided to do something a little different this year. The new season starts in October so why not hold a sprint race at MID-BC?! All eight classes were raced with 1 1/2 minute heats so we could finish up within four hours. It was a hectic and fun day with so many heats racing eight classes but it was enjoyed by all at the end of the day. In the end Rob took first place, but take a look at second thru sixth place…only six points separation. Looking at the final race results for each class it is understandable why it was so close as every class had very unique results. Congratulations to Dariusz for second place and Don rounding off the podium in third. Easily Henry, Leo or Lez could well have finished on the podium. It was also a special day for Dennis attending his first race and his fleet of cars he now owns, welcome aboard Dennis!
