The Group 5 Proxy left Calgary and landed in our home town Kelowna at Quail Ridge Speedway. Six racers came to help marshal and race these speed demon rubber tired cars on race day. Earlier in the week Leo and Rob qualified the cars and a new record lap time of 5.516s was recorded by Camber’s BMW M1 car from Australia. Congrats to Chris Struwig “F1Fan” from Chilliwack for taking top spot, Cameron “Camber” from Australia taking second and Kelowna’s Rob “Cgyracer” finishing third. Lez finished 8th and Leo 9th…..fantastic having all three Kelowna cars race so well and finish in the top ten!
